CreatorMotion · Paired Result Swap

Keep the comparison stable while the examples change. Fixed left/right labels anchor a sequence of complete image pairs, with both sides replaced together in clean cuts. A separate caption persists beneath the frames. This eight-second montage presents prepared before/after material; it does not create or verify the transformation between the images.

What you get

  • A local generator, editable HyperFrames effect and motion/review guidance. Generate a 1920×1080 project and render a 30 fps paired-example segment.
  • Editable leftLabel, rightLabel, pairs of two image keys and stepCaption. Bundled draft-1–draft-3 and refined-1–refined-3 raster slots demonstrate three illustrative pairs.
  • Synchronized pair swaps under fixed labels. The montage divides a 5.7-second interval among the supplied pairs, with the final pair held through the rest of the eight-second composition.
  • Four palettes preserve geometry and timing: White & Yellow (white-yellow), Charcoal & Lime (charcoal-lime), Paper & Orange (paper-orange) and Black & White (midnight-ice). Semantic overrides need a contrast check; dark canvases retain a fine static grid. Fonts are local: Inter, IBM Plex Mono for measurements/ordinals, Smiley Sans and Noto Sans SC. Chinese content automatically selects Smiley Sans, including Latin words; --zh-font noto-sans-sc chooses the plainer face and --font embeds your own. Recheck wrapping after changes.

Before you choose

Choose pairs with a visible, consistent difference. If a result requires reading a long brief or evaluating subtle accuracy, give it a longer inspection scene instead of treating a quick before/after flash as proof.

Good fit

  • A creator showing several authentic paired examples with the same comparison basis.
  • A short teaching montage where the visual change can be recognized quickly without inspecting every small detail.
  • A series using consistent pair alignment, caption placement and typography.

Not for

  • Automatically refining a draft, producing after-images, verifying an improvement or proving both pictures belong to the same process.
  • A slow shared-prompt evaluation with a selected winner. This montage uses aligned quick cuts and has no judgement logic.
  • Automatic full-film editing, generated presenter performances or music, or copying a reference creator’s identity and source materials.

How to use

You say/creatormotion-comparison-paired-swap Turn my supplied explanation into a white-yellow B-roll scene using the Paired Result Swap effect. Use the text, data and media I provide, and ask for any required input that is missing.
  1. Prepare two or more pairs as [leftImageKey,rightImageKey], along with fixed labels and stepCaption. Ensure both sides in each pair are genuinely comparable; the default examples are illustrative rather than verified transformation records.

  2. Replace the draft/refined slots or use other valid keys through --images. Every key must resolve. The current code calls requiredImage and does not fall back to editable document diagrams when images are missing, despite older instructions.

  3. Keep enough reading time for each pair. Adding more pairs shortens every slot because the 5.7-second montage interval stays fixed; choose fewer examples or revise duration/timing if viewers need close inspection. No presenter video or alpha matte is used.

  4. Prepare Node.js 22+, FFmpeg and the documented HyperFrames CLI 0.8.30. Run node scripts/create.mjs --out PROJECT --data CONTENT.json with the chosen --style from the extracted package. Map local image keys through --images; relative paths resolve beside that JSON and unlisted keys retain defaults. Add semantic --overrides if needed and follow the image policy when adapting materials.

  5. Lint, validate and inspect the generated HyperFrames project, then render at 1920×1080 and 30 fps with the pinned CLI. Inspect actual MP4 frames at entry, every change and final hold for image fit, captions, seams and text bounds. Keep at least 1.2 seconds for final reading when adjusting timing and check all palettes with identical content after module changes. Narration, music and full-film assembly remain separate work. Check that both sides switch on the same frame, labels remain fixed and the final pair holds cleanly. Inspect image fit and ensure the caption does not imply an outcome unsupported by the examples.
