A method for a repeatable job
Imagine making a monthly project update. A short request can ask for slides, but it leaves the structure, evidence and checks up to the agent each time. A reporting Skill can describe which inputs to collect, how to organize the story and what files to deliver.
The package does not become a new model. Its value is the working procedure you can reuse, inspect and improve. Clear instructions still need suitable tools and reliable source material.

Supporting folders are optional. Read the actual package rather than assuming that every Skill includes an executable tool or a ready-made template.
How the agent uses it
An agent can select a Skill when its description matches your task, or let you choose one explicitly. The discovery UI and invocation syntax depend on the agent. Start with your agent guide before troubleshooting a missing command.

Define the output
Name the file or result you want: a deck, a web page, an image or a rendered video.

Read the requirements
Check the inputs, runtime dependencies and any paid external service. A free download can still use paid tools.

Check availability
A Preview only listing has no installable package. Choose a listing that offers installation files.

Try one small task
Use your own short brief and compare the produced files with the promised output, not only the preview image.
