Give someone two ways to understand your career: explore the stories on a personal website or take away a concise CV. Scrapbook Resume organizes roles and projects as paper objects on a cream desk-like canvas, using a badge, taped contact card, torn notes and a cobalt ribbon to make the structure memorable while leaving the words selectable.
What you get
A connected resume site covering Home, Experience and role stories, Education, Skills and Tools, Projects and case pages, Kind words, Contact and a printable CV. The fictional example contains three roles, four cases and sixteen routes including a missing-page state; your real content replaces those examples.
A home page that links badge and contact details to a notepaper introduction, clipboard-based education and skills, tool groups, sticky-note roles, projects and quotations. Paper edges, tape and instant-photo frames are drawn in the page rather than flattening all content into a background image.
Role pages with workplace context, a facts card, story and highlights. Project pages explain the brief, idea, palette, making steps and actual result, with room for an honest reflection on what you would change.
Project filtering and sorting, tool tabs, FAQ, copy-email controls and a locally validated contact form. A separate one-page CV route supports browser printing and copying the CV as text; sandboxed previews can restrict printing.
A default single HTML file with embedded images and Bricolage Grotesque, Caveat and IBM Plex Mono. An existing or requested framework implementation is an alternative, keeping the same identity and connected page structure.
Before you choose
Choose this when your career record and the stories behind it deserve equal attention. Compared with the more product-focused Playful UI/UX Portfolio, its main advantage is the role/story/CV combination. Keep handmade objects as navigation cues; a recruiter should still find dates, responsibilities and contact information quickly.
Good fit
Visual, brand or packaging designers want their resume site to feel tactile and personal without reducing projects to decorative photographs.
A job seeker needs detailed role stories and case pages alongside a compact CV that a recruiter can print or copy.
Students, writers or developers can use the same page roles for coursework, publications or technical cases if the handmade identity fits the way they want to present themselves.
Not for
Formal corporate or legal profiles where handwriting, tape and sticky notes would undermine the intended tone.
A wholesale visual change to purple or lavender: the authored system uses cream, cobalt, yellow highlighting and selected pastel notes.
Live recruiting, booking or message delivery supplied by the local contact form.
Publishing fictional employers, referee quotations or generated people as your verified career history.
How to use
You say/scrapbook-resume-site Build Tessa Marlowe's resume site: a visual designer in Portland with three roles, four projects and a printable CV.
Prepare identity, title, city, availability and a short biography. Supply two to four actual roles, education, skills, tools and three or four project stories with dates, your role, process and supported results. Include kind words only with appropriate permission and contact details you intend to make public.
Select the output format from the project context. The default standalone site embeds fonts and images in one file; if you already have a framework app or ask for one, adapt into its components and routes. Use the package’s stated framework fallback only when a framework is wanted but not named.
Populate roles and projects as different kinds of evidence: a role explains what you did with whom over time, while a case explains a particular problem, process and result. Keep the short CV consistent with both, and replace sample names and durations throughout navigation and linked pages.
Use your own portrait and candid photos where possible, and real referee photos for real quoted people. Optional generated workplace, desk or project imagery should follow the warm daylight direction and be reviewed; generated people remain stand-ins and any tool charges are separate.
Run the build checks and inspect every route on desktop and phone. Exercise project filters, sorting, tool tabs, copy-email and contact-form states, then print the CV and try copy-as-text from the standalone file. Review any sandbox limitation rather than claiming the restricted preview proves the print path.
Requirements and costs
You bring
Name, role title, city, availability date, three one-word traits and a short bio · Two to four roles and three or four projects, each with dates, story and results · Contact details you are happy to publish, a portrait and any kind words with permission
Dependencies
Node.js 18 or newer on your agent's machine, to run the bundled script that builds the single offline file · Internet access while the file is built, so the fonts can be downloaded once and embedded · Optional: an image generation tool in your agent for workplace and project photos
Outside costs
Generating workplace, project or desk photos with your agent's image tool may incur that tool's usage charges. Your own photos cost nothing extra.

FAQ
One HTML file with its fonts and images embedded for offline opening. If you have a framework project or request one, the package calls for real routes and components instead; its unnamed-framework fallback is Next.js App Router with TypeScript.
No. Your portrait and candid images are preferred, and any referee should be shown accurately. The agent can optionally generate supporting workplace, desk and project photos using its available image tool, which can incur usage charges. Generated likenesses must be identified as stand-ins rather than presented as the real people.
The separate one-page CV route is designed for browser printing and includes copy-as-text. Inside a sandboxed preview the print control can show a limitation notice instead, so check printing from the actual standalone file.
The website gives roles and projects their own pages and includes supporting education, tools and contact content. The one-page CV is an additional compact representation, not the whole site.
It validates and confirms in the browser until you connect a real backend. Test delivery before telling visitors that a local confirmation means their message reached you.
