Turn supplied social/content performance material into a concise review: what changed, which content mattered, how channels differed and what the team should do next. Slate Social Report Deck combines oversized accent headings, cool-gray pages and grayscale cutout groups. It formats the evidence you provide; it does not connect to social accounts, retrieve metrics or verify results automatically.
What you get
Nine adaptable archetypes: cover, three-chapter contents, overview, performance numbers, engagement bars, three best-content entries, channel comparison, challenges/lessons and closing actions with owner/date. Select or extend recipes for the agreed count. The installed generic schema fixture is not a completed nine-page quarterly report.
Embedded Schibsted Grotesk display type and Inter body on cool light-gray paper with intentional charcoal pages. Authored uses blue-violet emphasis; Teal and Clay are coordinated generation-time alternatives. Keep one accent element per page, square photo/card windows, selected tilted rounded chapter pills and at most one meaningful inline doodle.
Detailed readability limits: a 12-column grid with 77 px side margins and 26 px gutters, content roughly 79–634 px high, at most three blocks and thirty percent empty space. Titles allow seven words (cover five), one supporting line eighteen and each page forty-five words excluding numbers. Body stays at least 17 px; extra rows, definitions and context move into useful notes.
Seven bundled grayscale photos show fictional groups/working sessions, with some outdoor/hiking/travel-specific scenes. Edge-anchored windows and charcoal mask fades leave clean text areas. Use each source on one slide only, never overlap photos or place a card/text on a face; fictional people are not your team or audience evidence.
A generated offline 1280×720 HTML deck with navigation, overview/thumbnails, speaker notes, editing, presentation mode and print styling. The installation supplies recipes, references, catalog and build/media tools. Optional checked PPTX preserves native text/notes and separate pictures while complex charts/shapes/backgrounds are rendered; PDF prints one 16:9 slide per page. No automatic publishing or live analytics integration is included.
Before you choose
Keep the report useful as a decision record. Define the period and measures, separate observation from interpretation and attach an owner/date to each next step. Move detailed definitions and caveats into notes without deleting them; a clean chart or confident headline does not substitute for a verified comparison.
Good fit
A team preparing a quarterly content review, audience-insight discussion or social-channel report from verified source figures.
A reviewer who wants to correct wording, numbers, page order and notes directly in the browser before rehearsal.
A presenter who needs one coherent sequence from performance and comparison to lessons, owners and dated next actions.
Not for
Exact copies of an existing template, protected artwork, third-party identities, logos or photographs.
A promise that every exported PowerPoint chart, shape and effect remains a native editable object.
Automatic publishing, unapproved paid image generation, live account-data collection or unsupported performance claims.
How to use
You say/slate-social-report-deck Make a nine-slide deck for a quarterly community content report.
Provide topic, audience, reporting purpose, approximate length, source outline/figures and the decision or action the review should support. Supply verified values, reporting dates and permitted images. Agree the actual page count; copy defaults to English unless another language is requested. Label invented examples as illustrative rather than mixing them into reported results.
Plan the nine roles around your evidence: overview, performance, engagement, content comparisons, lessons and owned next actions. Keep the three-chapter contents, three-number/bar/content rows and three-row comparison only when the material fits; extend/split pages instead of inventing values or shrinking type. Put data definitions and detailed caveats in notes.
Choose Authored, Teal or Clay while preserving intentional light/dark page treatments and embedded fonts. Apply the 77 px margins and word/type budgets: title ≤7 words (cover ≤5), one ≤18-word supporting line, up to three short items and ≤45 words excluding numbers. Body stays ≥17 px; use one accent element and no tag/pill clutter beyond the planned chapter pills. A numbers slide may have one short footnote.
Prioritize supplied images, then suitable catalog reuse, generation for gaps or all-new imagery; reuse is the fallback without a choice/tool. Check outdoor/hiking/travel restrictions in the seven-photo catalog. Use each pictorial source once, keep text off faces and busy areas and maintain clean gray/charcoal cutout backgrounds. A fictional group image must not imply actual staff, survey respondents or a documented campaign.
Generate optional new grayscale scenes at kit slot ratios through built-in tools or the current FAL helper/FAL_KEY route. Host limits or separate provider charges apply; obtain approval for paid generation and submit each task once then poll/fetch. Record prompts/results and disclose missing frames. Keep approved words, labels and figures in editable nodes outside images.
Compose from recipes, replacing all copy, alt text, images, labels and chart/table values and removing unused objects. Python 3 handles compose/build/static checks; optional media tools use Node. Resolve unfilled-image and leftover-example reports, verify count and inline fonts/resources under 20 MB. Library downloads may need internet while building; delivery must not depend on remote assets or the Skill folder.
Inspect every 1280×720 page over local HTTP for chart/table accuracy, period/denominator consistency, readable labels, title fit, photo crops/masks, image uniqueness, contrast, bounds and notes/page order. Check whether comparisons and lessons are supported by supplied data. Exercise text/image/order/layout/color edits, notes, undo/redo, Save/reopen and presentation mode, then rehearse.
Deliver page-view HTML with Edit/E and Save (Cmd/Ctrl+S) instructions: browser recovery is local, Save writes portable edits. Set interface/content languages independently and check CJK/RTL fallback and fit because embedded fonts are Latin subsets. Export/check/inspect requested PPTX/PDF and recipient fonts before sharing. Named presets guide generation, not an editor theme picker; embedded PPTX export replaces the retired mandatory Node/Chromium export chain.
Requirements and costs
You bring
Topic, audience, and the decision or learning goal. · Approximate page count and a source outline. · Verified figures and image rights for any supplied material.
Dependencies
Modern browser — required for presentation and browser editing · Chrome, Chromium or Edge plus Node.js 20 or newer — required only for PowerPoint export · Built-in image generation in your agent (GPT Image class) — only needed to create new pictures; no separate API key · Internet access — optional, to download this Skill's picture library while building a deck
Outside costs
Decks can reuse this Skill's own picture library at no image cost: you choose up front whether to reuse it or generate every picture new. New pictures use your agent's built-in image generation tool (GPT Image class) with no separate API key, and availability follows your agent account.

FAQ
Yes. Enter Edit for text, pictures, notes, order, layouts and individual colors, then Save. PPTX keeps native text/notes and separate pictures while complex charts, shapes and backgrounds may be rendered. Current embedded export replaces the retired mandatory Node/Chromium chain; Python handles source build/check and optional media tools use Node. Inspect actual exports and recipient fonts.
No generation is required when suitable supplied pictures or the seven bundled photos cover the plan. Check subject restrictions and use each source once. Optional built-in generation follows host availability/limits without a separate key; the current package also offers FAL/FAL_KEY with separate charges and approval for paid work. Disclose missing frames, and never present generated groups as actual staff or respondents.
Choose Authored, Teal or Clay during generation while retaining the grid, typography and intentional light/dark treatments. The shared editor allows individual color edits but has no per-style theme chooser. Check accent contrast and content fit after changes; changing the palette does not verify the report’s data.
