CreatorMotion · Ratio Between Two Sides

Keep the context steady while a relationship changes. Up to three portrait cards on the left and an object panel on the right stay in place while a large central percentage moves from your start value to your end value. Its ink and border emphasis change at a supplied threshold, making the status shift visible without adding or moving the endpoint objects.

What you get

  • A local generator, editable HyperFrames effect and motion/review instructions. Generate the composition and render a seven-second, 1920×1080, 30 fps segment for a separate video edit.
  • Editable left names, right label, start, end, threshold and central label. avatar1–avatar3 correspond to the first three left entries; productImage supplies the tall right-hand panel. Illustrative raster defaults are included.
  • A central counter interpolating from 0.35–2.90 seconds while endpoint cards remain still. The displayed percentage is rounded to a whole number, with a discrete ink/border status change at the threshold and a stable final hold.
  • Four palettes preserve the same sequence: White & Yellow (white-yellow), Charcoal & Lime (charcoal-lime), Paper & Orange (paper-orange) and Black & White (midnight-ice). Semantic overrides can adapt the treatment; check contrast after changes. Dark palettes retain a fine static grid. Bundled local fonts include Inter, IBM Plex Mono for measurements and ordinals, Smiley Sans and Noto Sans SC. Chinese copy automatically uses Smiley Sans, including Latin text in the same composition; use --zh-font noto-sans-sc for the plainer face or --font for your supplied font. Recheck text bounds after a font change.

Before you choose

Define the metric before choosing the pictures. A strong animated percentage can suggest authority, so keep the denominator and meaning explicit; use portraits as context rather than implying that three visible people produced the rate.

Good fit

  • A teaching passage explaining a supplied percentage while keeping the participants and subject visible.
  • A concise creator explanation of a completion-rate change or another clearly defined ratio, with a meaningful threshold.
  • A series using consistent portrait/object layouts, typography and motion for related examples.

Not for

  • Computing a rate from the visible people, inferring a denominator or fetching live figures. The percentage is a supplied input independent of the image count.
  • Precise decimal-percentage reporting without changing the formatter, or automatically interpreting whether a higher value is desirable for your metric.
  • Automatic long-form editing, generated presenter performances or music, or copying another creator’s identity and materials.

How to use

You say/creatormotion-cards-ratio-bridge Turn my supplied explanation into a white-yellow B-roll scene using the Ratio Between Two Sides effect. Use the text, data and media I provide, and ask for any required input that is missing.
  1. Prepare up to three left labels, the right label and a concise central label defining the percentage. Separately supply start, end and threshold. The illustrative defaults move Completion rate from 20 to 80 with a threshold of 60; use your actual figures and explain what they measure.

  2. Verify the percentage, denominator and threshold outside the animation. Choose sensible values for a percent display; the implementation interpolates the numbers you provide rather than calculating or validating the metric. It displays whole percentages and uses the same greater-than-or-equal threshold rule even when the value decreases.

  3. Replace avatar1–avatar3 and productImage as needed through --images. Match portraits to names and use appropriate material for the right-hand subject. Generated defaults are illustrative and do not establish real participation or results. This effect does not use presenter video or an alpha matte.

  4. Prepare Node.js 22+, FFmpeg and the documented HyperFrames CLI 0.8.30. From the extracted package run node scripts/create.mjs --out PROJECT --data CONTENT.json. Choose --style and optional semantic --overrides; --images replaces named local slots with paths relative to the image-map JSON. Unlisted slots retain their defaults. Read the image policy before adapting visual materials.

  5. Inspect the editable project and render with npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 render PROJECT --output VIDEO.mp4 --fps 30 --quality high --strict. Review the rendered opening, every main change and final reading hold for clipping, contrast and overlap. Narration, music and assembly with other scenes remain separate production work. Watch the threshold crossing and final percentage, then read the central label with both endpoints. Confirm that color contrast stays readable and the visible portraits are not mistaken for the statistical denominator.
